Capiz seafood recipes, ihahain sa 'Pinas Sarap'

Ngayong Huwebes, samahan si Kara David na magbalikbayan sa kanyang hometown na mayaman sa mga lamang dagat, ang tinaguriang Seafood Capital of the Philippines… ang probinsiya ng Capiz! Sa part 1 ng ating foodtrip sa Capiz, titikman natin ang nagsasarapang mga seafood dish na tatak Capiznon!

Sa bayan ng Pontevedra, lulusong si Kara sa brackish water o pinaghalong tubig alat at tubig tabang para manghuli ng mga naglalakihang mudcrabs o alimango. At ang kanyang premyo, ang matikman ang mga espesyal na luto ng alimango gaya ng crab with honey and garlic at crab with sweet chili sauce.

Ang “Mutya ng Capiz” at “Pampano Diablo,” mga pagkaing sikat at dinarayo sa lugar.  Ang mutya ng Capiz ay soup na ang rekado, samu’t saring lamang dagat gaya ng tahong, scallops, pusit at hipon. Ang Pampano Diablo naman, piniritong pampano fish na may maanghang na sauce. Ito ang mga specialty seafood dish sa isang restaurant sa Capiz.

Magpapakabusog din tayo sa mga pagkaing pinagsama na ang ulam at kanin na pinasarap ng isda at lamang dagat, tulad ng seafood paella at seafood rice!

This thursday, join Kara David as she travel to her hometown, the seafood capital of the Philippines, the province of Capiz! On the first episode of Capiz foodtrip, we will taste the yummiest seafood dishes that are certified Capiznon dish!

In the town of Pontevedra, Kara will swim in the brackish water or a mixture of salt water and fresh water to catch big mudcrabs. And her prize of her labor is to taste the special crab dishes like crab with honey and garlic and crab with sweet chili sauce.

“Mutya ng Capiz” and “Pompano Diablo” are popular dishes that attracts tourists. Mutya ng Capiz is a soup-based dish that has vaious seafoods like mussel, scallops, squid and shrimp; while, Pampano Diablo is a fried pompano fish with spicy sauce. These are the specialty seafood dishes in a restaurant in Capiz.

We will also feist in the yummy foods with various seafood rice dishes, like seafood paella and seafood rice.
