Ang lumalalang sitwasyon ng trapiko sa bayan ni Juan, hindi lang daw nakauubos ng oras kundi pati na ng pasensya. Pero kanino nga raw ba ito dapat isisi? Sa dami ng bilang ng mga sasakyan sa lansangan, sa mga kinauukulang nagpapatupad ng batas trapiko o baka sa kawalan ng disiplina nilang mga nasa likod ng manibela?

Dahil madalas na naghahabol ng boundary, aminadong pasaway sa daan ang jeepney driver na si tatay Francis. Gawing-gawi na nga raw niya na gawing terminal ang mga tabing kalsada, na nakapagpapabigat sa daloy ng trapiko. Aalamin ni Cesar Apolinario ang sentimyento ng mga kagaya niyang nagpapaka-pasaway sa lansangan, kumita lang ng pantustos sa kanilang mga pamilya.

Sa pamamagitan din ng ilang social experiment, aalamin ng I Juander kung sumusunod nga ba si Juan sa batas trapiko. Ilan kayang pedestrian ang magje-jaywalking kahit na may footbridge naman? At tumawid na kaya sila sa tamang tawiran kung may pumuwesto rito na traffic enforcer? Baka naman magaling lang si Juan kung may mga matang nakamasid.

Sa pagbagtas ni Susan Enriquez sa isang one-way na kalsada sa Quezon City, nalaman niya mula sa ilang mga tricycle driver na mismong mga traffic enforcer, pinapayagan sila ritong mag-counterflow. Ano kaya ang masasabi ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority o MMDA sa ganitong mga sitwasyon?

The worsening traffic problem in the country not only drains people’s time but also their patience. Who is really responsible in the issue? Is it the volume of cars in the stree? The authorities implementing traffic rules? Or the lack of discipline of the motorists?

In trying to reach his boundary, Jeepney driver Francis admits he is unruly in driving in the street. The side street serves as his terminal, that causes congestion and traffic. Cesar Apolinario will listen to the sentiments of the jeepney drivers who needs to earn money to support their family.

Through a social experiment, I Juander finds out if Juan follows the traffic rules. Will some pedestrians violate and will jaywalk and not use the footbridge? Will they cross in the right place only when there is a traffic enforcer present?

Susan Enriquez drove in a one-way street in Quezon City, she discovered from tricycle drivers that the traffic enforcers allow them to counterflow. We asked the Metropolitan Manila Development authority or MMDA about this.
