When we talk about Press Freedom, the experience of the journalist during Martial Law is incomparable. Many of them were jailed, tortured and killed. Photojournalist Lito Ocampo, veteran director Joel Lamangan and even GMA’s veteran journalist Howie Severino share their experiences during the Martial Law.
But even during the colonization of the Spanish and Japanese in the Philippines, free press was already challenged. This resulted to some journalist to go underground and print information discreetly. There are also some Filipinos like Graciano Lopez Jaena and even Dr. Jose Rizal who write their attacks to the Government in a different manner. How were they able to fight for the rights during the time?
Join Susan Enriquez and Cesar Apolinario as they tackle a serious matter. Please watch I Juander this Wednesday, eight o’clock in the evening on GMA News TV!
