JOLO BOMBING

Mahigit dalawampu ang namatay at halos isandaan ang sugatan sa pinakahuling pag-atake ng mga terorista sa Jolo, Sulu. Sa kambal na pagsabog sa Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cathedral, walang kamalay-malay ang mga dumadalo noon sa misa sa nakaambang malagim na trahedya. 

Unang tiningnan ang posibilidad na ang international terrorist group na ISIS ang nasa likod ng pagsabog, pero sa paggulong ng imbestigasyon, kalauna’y sumuko rin sa mga awtoridad ang main suspect na si Alias Kamah na konektado sa Abu Sayyaf.

Tinutukan ni Marisol Abdurahman ang pinakahuling mga balita kaugnay sa naganap na pagsabog sa Jolo.

BANTAY GUBAT

Mahalaga ang Ipo Watershed sa Bulacan dahil dito nagmumula ang suplay ng tubig sa Kalakhang Maynila. Pangunahing nangangalaga sa seguridad at kaayusan nito ang mga nakatalaga ritong Bantay Gubat.

Pero dahil nasa mahigit anim na libong ektarya ang binabantayan ng mahigit isandaan lang nilang tauhan, bukod pa sa problema ng kakulangan sa pondo para sa kanilang mga kagamitan, malaking pagsubok ang kinakaharap ng mga Bantay Gubat sa pagganap ng kanilang tungkulin. JOLO BOMBING

More than twenty were killed while almost a hundred were injured in the recent terrorist attack in Jolo, Sulu. Victims of the deadly twin bombing were unsuspecting regular churchgoers of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cathedral. International terrorist group ISIS initially claimed responsibility of the attack, but recently, main suspect Alias Kamah of Abu Sayyaf eventually turned himself in. Marisol Abdurahman delivers the latest updates about the deadly Jolo blasts.

BANTAY GUBAT

Metro Manila gets its water supply from the Ipo Watershed in Bulacan. Because of this crucial role of the watershed, members of the Bantay Gubat guard the surrounding forests from illegal activities.  But because the six thousand hectare watershed is looked after by only a hundred of them, aside also from the lack of funds and equipment, they face an enormous challenge in protecting the forests.  Bam Alegre checks on the situation of the members of the Bantay Gubat of the Ipo Watershed.
