In another mouth-watering episode, GMA News TV’s award-winning info-tainment show “Ang Pinaka” listed down the top 10 must-try mini-foods in the metro.
 

From mini-burger to mini-bibingkas, Team Pinaka completes a list of food items that come in small serving but are still appetizing.
 

10. Miguelito’s Mini-Donuts Factory


 

The novelty of having bite-sized versions of doughnuts aside, Miguelito’s Mini-Donuts Factory takes it up one notch in the pastry business by offering Do-It-Yourself (DIY) doughnuts. Customers can choose which toppings to add and which syrup to flavour their doughnuts.

9. Crave Burger Mini-Burger



 

Crave Burger is famous for their big, yummy and juicy hamburgers. So why come up with mini version? Crave Burger and President Rurik Earl Santos says, “Napansin namin ‘yung mga babae naming customers kailangan demure. Ayaw nila ng machong kagat ng burger so we decided to introduce ‘yung mini-burgers.”

A serving of three Crave Burger mini-burgers (Crave Mini-Burger P150, Crave Mini Solo P60) is available in beef, chicken, angus beef, salmon and pork.

8. Thumbs Up Ice Cream



Thumbs Up Ice Cream is the world’s smallest ice cream cone neatly placed on a thumb-held multicone holder that resembles a painter’s color palette. This strategic product design allows customers to taste five flavors all at once and with ease.

Flavors of Thumbs Up Ice Cream include Avocado, Bubble gum, Chocolate, Chocolate Mint, Cookies and Cream, Strawberry, Ube, and White Chocolate. One palette (5 flavors) costs P29.

7. Pizza Pedrico’s Mini-Pizza



Pizza Pedrico’s mini-pizzas are 5-inches in diameter. Each serving is sliced into four pieces.

Best-selling flavors of Pizza Pedrico’s mini-pizzas are ham, pineapple, and cheese combo; cheese and cheese; and chorizo and cheese.

6. Bibingkinitan



Why did the owners of Bibingkinitan decide to come up with a mini version of this favorite local delicacy?

“Every time na bumibili sila ng bibingka, malalaki. So napapansin nila na every time na aalis na sila, may natitira. So napag-isipan nila na bakit hindi kaya gumawa ng maliit na walang nawawaste?” says Victoria Paz, area manager of Bibingkinitan.

Bibingkinitan’s mini-sized version of the pastry only differs in size, but still packs the same buttery flavor as that of the regular bibingka. Each piece costs P20.

5. Taclings

Taclings are a mini-me version of the regular tacos, perfect to go as a pica-pica dish. The homemade mini taco shells are filled with your choice of meat (beef or tuna-P60/6pcs, P110/12pcs) and Taclings’ special garlic sauce.

4. Cukay’s Mini-Cupcakes


Cukay’s is a homebaker that has been selling mini-cupcakes and other pastries in weekend bazaars for the past three years.

3. Empanada Mas Empanaditas
