Pinoy showbiz fans delight in gossiping about the pairings and breakups of their favorite celebrities. Last June 17, GMA News TV’s list-and-survey edu-tainment show “Ang Pinaka” rounded up the most-talked about celebrity break-ups in recent memory. Showbiz insiders and commentators joined as this episode’s guest panelists:

A few months later, news of their split broke.  Both parties blamed personal differences for their numerous fights.  They maintain that their split was mutual, and that no third party was involved. 9. Krista Kleiner and Jay-R 7.  Melai Cantiveros and Jason Francisco The relationship between reality TV sensations Melai Cantiveros and Jason Francisco, a.k.a. "MelaSon," was widely supported by the couple’s fans.  Since their split, the reality stars’ showbiz careers have stalled. 6. Heart Evangelista and Daniel Matsunaga The relationship between Kapuso actress Heart Evangelista and "Bra-panese" model Daniel Matsunaga ended in March this year.  Heart was in Manila when she broke it off with Daniel who was in Brazil at the time. By April 14, Heart confirmed the split on Twitter: “breakups don't always mean the other one was bad or we didn't love each other, it could just be...we were too different.” A distraught Daniel (@dmatsunaga) tweeted this in response: “just asking God...why? i tried” 5.  Shaina Magdayao and John Lloyd Cruz Actors John Lloyd Cruz and Shaina Magdayao called it quits months before news of their split even surfaced in the media. While rumors circulated that Angelica Panganiban may have been the reason for the split, both John Lloyd and Shaina denied this. 4.  Andi Eigenmann and Albie Casiño Andi and Albie had already split even before news broke of Andi’s pregnancy.  The relationship was confirmed finally over after a brawl broke out between Albie and Andi’s friends outside a Makati bar last May. 3. Angelica Panganiban and Derek Ramsey Sexy comedienne Angelica Panganiban and hunky actor Derek Ramsay put an end to their six-year relationship. While fans mourned the couple, Derek said he had no regrets: “Hindi sayang. I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. We did so many things together. We travelled the world together.” The former couple denied rumors that any third party (John Lloyd Cruz and Sam Pinto were among the names floated) had caused the split. 2.  Vicky Belo and Hayden Kho "Doctor to the Stars" Vicky Belo finally put an end to her on-off relationship with the controversial Hayden Kho.  In February, Belo tweeted:  “Nancy Castiglione, you can openly date Hayden. You have my blessings. Hope you’ll both be happy.” Model-actress Nancy denied that she had any role in the rift between Hayden and Vicky. 1.  KC Concepcion and Piolo Pascual November 2011 marked the end of the much-publicized relationship of between matinee idol Piolo Pascual and actress-host KC Concepcion.  KC alluded to Piolo’s rumored homosexuality in several explosive post-breakup interviews. Throughout the ordeal, Piolo stayed mum about the breakup and allowed his former-lady to do the talking.
