3 persons possibly buried in Davao de Oro landslide

At least three persons were believed to have been buried in a landslide that occurred in the town of Monkayo in Davao de Oro, according to a report on Saksi on Monday.

A video recording of the incident showed that soil and rocks moving in the direction of a house in the area.

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office said there was an ongoing road project at the site when the landslide occurred.

An investigation on the incident is underway. -- BAP, GMA News
