Dumaguete policeman teaches tourists how to eat balut

Foreign professors, students and tourists are a common sight in Dumaguete City, the capital city of the province of Negros Oriental.

A tourist police, who may very well be a model for the City of Gentle People, stretches local hospitality a bit more by teaching foreign visitors the proper way to eat balut or boiled duck egg .

The Negros Oriental Provincial Police Office Tourist Police Unit posted two pictures of  a certain PO3 Adling doing just that with  visitors attending the ASEAN Tourism Forum which is being held in the city.

The photos failed to show though, if the foreigners liked the taste of the local delicacy. — BAP/APG, GMA News
