Leni serves lugaw and pandesal to Taal evacuees in Tuy, Batangas
Vice President Leni Robredo on Tuesday provided evacuees in Batangas a filling meal of lugaw and pandesal, while serving her usual critics a dose of snark as well.
As seen in a video posted on her Twitter account, Robredo was in Tuy, Batangas to serve meals to people who had fled their homes when Taal Volcano erupted on January 12.
The Vice President also held a sign that read "Lugaw Leni," the derisive nickname used by detractors when referring to her on social media.
VP Robredo, whose critics mock her by tagging her Leni Lugaw who serves lugaw to win votes, claps back by indeed serving lugaw to evacuees displaced by Taal Volcano eruption almost two weeks ago @gmanews https://t.co/GnNu1Pgowg pic.twitter.com/sCFK6mmZTe

Robredo had earlier called out blogger and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration Deputy Executive Director Mocha Uson for allegations she made about the aid turned over by Robredo's office to evacuees.
Uson claimed that the aid, sourced from Robredo's office and various donors, is limited to one bottle of water and five pieces of pandesal per food pack.
The Office of the Vice President said that each food pack of aid includes 1.5 kilos of rice, assorted canned goods, and two packs of noodles.
On Tuesday, Robredo also distributed hygiene kits, sleeping mattresses and blankets to the evacuees.
The visit was her second to evacuees displaced by Taal Volcano's eruption in less than a week. — BM, GMA News
