DLSU-Manila grad tops Chemical Engineer Licensure Exam

All 119 examinees from the University of the Philippines-Diliman passed the Chemical Engineer Licensure Examination, but a graduate from De La Salle University-Manila garnered the highest rating from among the 1,259 takers.  A total of 899 examinees passed the examination, according to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

DLSU’s Martin Zechariah Magat Valencia got 86.10% to top the exam.  He was followed by Maru Feriel Olivan del Carmen of UP-Diliman with 85.80% and Chester Jules Antonio Tantoco of UP-Los Banos with 84.70%.

The exam was given by the PRC’s Board of Chemical Engineering in Manila and Cebu this November 2019.
