Duterte visits daughter Kitty in hospital

President Rodrigo Duterte spent time with his youngest daughter Veronica "Kitty" Duterte who was confined at a hospital in Davao City due to dengue.

Kitty shared on Monday a short video on her Instagram story showing her in a hospital bed while her father and some of her friends were also inside the room.

"With Daddy Shark hahahahahahah," Kitty's friend with the username n00bumi wrote in the caption.

The President reportedly lost sleep on the way back to the country from a five-day official visit to Russia after he learned of Kitty's health condition.

He went straight from the airport to the hospital when he arrived on Sunday.

Kitty, the President's daughter with partner Honeylet Avanceña, is "on her way to recovery," according to Senator Bong Go. —Dona Magsino/KG, GMA News
