‘Bikoy’ alleges Duterte's son-in-law also involved in drug trade
An anonymous video uploader has stirred discussions again in the online community after episode 4 of the "Ang Totoong Narcolist" went viral—this time claiming that President Rodrigo Duterte's son-in-law was involved in the drug trade.
According to a report on GMA's 24 Oras on Monday, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte's husband, Atty. Mans Carpio was alleged by "Bikoy" as another receiver of payoffs from the drug syndicate.
Carpio has yet to issue an official statement as of posting time but his wife Sara said the allegation remains baseless.
"In all statements and accusations, dapat mayroon kang proof; evidence. Hindi ka basta-basta na magbigay ng statements as if it is a fact," Sara Duterte said.
In the previous episodes of the viral online series, presidential son Paolo Duterte and former special assistant to the President Bong Go were also accused of having links to the drug trade in the country.
Both denied the allegation, with Bong Go even baring his back to prove that he does not have the supposed tattoo linked to illegal drugs.
The Philippine National Police said that alias Bikoy may be held liable for violating the cybercrime law if he cannot prove his allegations. —Dona Magsino/LDF, GMA News
