Around 68% of the respondents said the accusations are true, with 29% saying “definitely true” and 39% saying “probably true.”

Only 6% believe that the accusations are not true, while the remaining 26% are undecided.

The survey was conducted among 1,440 respondents from December 16 to 19 with a sampling error of ±2.6% nationwide and ±5% each of Balance Luzon, Metro Manila, Visayas, and Mindanao.

However, majority of adult Filipinos are undecided whether police claims of "nanlaban" over drug-related killings are true.

SWS asked respondents on "whether the police are telling the truth that the suspects they killed really fought back" or the so-called "nanlaban."

Around 44% of the respondents said they were undecided about the issue. The rest were almost evenly split, with 28% each for believing and disbelieving the police.
