Ateneo campus declared safe as second sweep yields no bomb
The Ateneo de Manila campus in Quezon City has been declared safe after an alleged bomb threat caused a campus lockdown and the evacuation of staff and students on Monday.
According to the university's Facebook post at 1:52 p.m., the second sweep in the search for explosives confirmed that the campus was clear from any threat.
Faculty, staff, and students may now reenter the campus to retrieve belongings.
Full cooperation with several heightened security measures following the bomb threat are expected from the Atenean community.
