Sudden rain, flooding in NCR caused driver shortage —Grab PHL
Grab Philippines on Thursday admitted it had experienced shortage of drivers on Wednesday night following the sudden heavy rainfall and flooding in Metro Manila.
Interviewed on Dobol B sa News TV, Grab Philippines spokesperson Nicka Hosaka said some of their drivers did not operate during the foul weather for safety reasons.
Hosaka was explaining why some commuters found it hard to book Grab rides on Wednesday night amid the heavy rain.
However, Hosaka said their operations returned to normal when the weather improved.
—Joviland Rita/KBK, GMA News
