127 crime suspects rounded up in southern Metro Manila


A total of 127 people were rounded up by the Southern Police District in a week-long intensified anti-criminality drive.
 
A radio dzBB report said that according to SPD direcdtor Chief Superintendent Henry Rañola, 65 of those arrested are known drug suspects in the southern part of Metro Manila.


The report said that two of the drug suspects arrested were among the top 10 drug personalities in southern metro.
 
The 127 suspects were presented to the media in a press conference at the SPD headquarters in Taguig city.
 
Radio dzBB's Manny Vargas also reported that a total of 75 stolen motorcycles and eight different types of deadly weapons were confiscated by policemen during the anti-criminality campaign conducted this past week. —ALG, GMA News
