FWD Philippines expands variable unit-linked insurance

FWD Philippines on Wednesday said it has expanded the variable unit-linked plan by introducing new add-ons to the product.

The insurer said it has increased four new protection add-ons to its Set for Life plan:

• HealthPro – a critical illness insurance add-on that covers 42 major illnesses, 15 minor illnesses, and death

• LifePro – a life insurance add-on that covers death and terminal illness

• SafetyPro – an accident insurance add-on that covers clients up to 75-year-old

• SurePro – an add-on that waives premiums if the insured is diagnosed with critical illness

“We’re passionate about fulfilling the evolving protection needs of Filipino customers with simple, relevant, and affordable insurance products,” said FWD Philippines president and CEO Peter Grimes.

FWD also announced new ready-made lifestyle bundles:

• Proactive Lifestyle Bundle – targeting young breadwinners with SafetyPro and SurePro

• Future-Ready Bundle – targeting early nesters starting a family with LifePro and SurePro

• Go-Getter Lifestyle Bundle – targeting parents with SurePro and HealthPro

• All-In Lifestyle – the service comes with HealthPro, LifePro, SafetyPro, and SurePro
