BYD unleashes the 'Sealion 6 DM-i'


BYD Cars Philippines unveiled the Sealion 6 DM-i

BYD Cars Philippines unveiled the Sealion 6 DM-i which the company says "is made to break through conventional standards of an electrified experience."

It is the first vehicle in the country to use the BYD Super DM-i Technology which the firm touts as a "powertrain that offers advantages well and beyond the usual hybrid vehicle."

"The BYD Sealion 6 DM-i has the capacity to go beyond 1,000km, making range anxiety a thing of the past. It can also yield more than 200hp of superior power for those times you need the extra muscle," the company said.

"It has the capability to run on 100% electric power for as far as 105 km, giving you remarkable energy efficiency while enjoying a smooth and silent ride that electric vehicles are known for," it added. 

BYD's latest offering also boasts of ample space making it ideal for long trips. 

 

 

It also features a 15.6-inch rotating touch screen for navigation and entertainment, Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Infinity 10-speaker system, and a dual 15W wireless charger.

It's safety features include 360-degree Around View Camera, 6-sensor radar system, Adaptive and Intelligent Cruise Control with Stop & Go Full Speed, Traffic Sign Recognition, Intelligent Speed Limit Information, and Intelligent Speed Limit Control. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
