Mitsubishi PH: XForce a 'game-changer' in compact SUV segment
Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has unveiled what it described as the "game-changer" in the compact SUV segment, the XForce.
A grand launch was held at SM Aura on Friday as MMC showcased the XForce which comes in two variants, the GLS CVT and GT CVT.
Headlining the features of Mitsubishi's new compact SUV is its 4 drive modes: Normal , Gravel, Mud, and Wet which can be toggled with a simple adjustment button.
The company said that the wet drive mode is "developed specifically for Southeast Asian roads and weather."
The XForce, meanwhile, also has a 193 mm ground clearance that can "clear road obstacles effortlessly with enhanced stability."
For looks, the new compact SUV carries Mitsubishi signature Dynamic Shield Concept which it described as a "striking blend of style and power guaranteed to turn heads on the road."
It also has a distinctive T-Shape LED Head lamps with slitted accents. The XForce also boasts an 18-inch alloy wheels which improves stability and handling.
Meanwhile, a Power Tailgate with hands free function is also a cool touch which can be activated by a convenient kicking motion.
Inside, the roomy cabin includes rear seats with 8-way adjustability which is complemented by synthetic leather seats with heatguard is available in the GT variant.
The XForce's head unit its a sizable 12.3-inch display with an intuitive interface that is equipped with various widgets to provide more useful driving information.
Mitsubisihi also placed importance on safety with the Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM) system which automatically applies the brakes when it detects a potential collision due to distance from the vehicle ahead.
For the GT variant, there's a Rear-Cross Traffic Alert and a Blind Spot Warning system.
Rounding up the features of the XForce is Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium's 8-speaker system.
