New NLEX toll rates starting June 15, 2023
NLEX Corporation, which operates the North Luzon Expressway connecting Metro Manila and Mabalacat City, is set to hike its toll rates starting June 15, as approved by the Roll Regulatory Board (TRB).
For the open system, or from Metro Manila (Balintawak, Navotas, Caloocan, and Valenzuela) to Marilao, Bulacan, the fees will increase by ?7.00 for Class 1 vehicles (regular cars and SUVs); ?17.00 for Class 2 vehicles (buses and small trucks); and ?19.00 for Class 3 vehicles (large trucks).
For the closed system, or the portion between Bocaue, Bulacan, and Sta. Ines, Mabalacat, Pampanga including Subic-Tipo, the fees will increase by P0.36 per kilometer.
Below are the new toll fees:
Class 1 vehicles or regular cars and sports utility vehicles
- Open System: P69
- End to End: P332 (+P33.00)
Class 2 vehicles or buses and small trucks
- Open System: P172
- End to End: P829 (+P81.00)
Class 3 vehicles or large trucks
- Open System: P206
- End to End: P995 (+98.00)
“The new rates, which underwent thorough regulatory reviews and approvals, were part of the authorized NLEX periodic adjustments due in 2012, 2014, 2018 and 2020,” NLEX said.
NLEX operates the Easytrip System which covers the North Luzon Expressway (NLEx), the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEx), the Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEx), the C5 Southlink, and the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX). — Jon Viktor D. Cabuenas/BM, GMA Integrated News
