System connectivity issue delays PSE market opening

The market opening of the Philippine Stock Exchange Inc. (PSE) was delayed by over an hour on Monday, March 24, due to a system connectivity issue.

In an advisory, the PSE announced an adjusted trading schedule for the day — the pre-open no cancel at 11:05 a.m., and the market open at 11:10 a.m.

“The market opening at the Philippine Stock Exchange Inc. was delayed due to a system connectivity issue that is currently being resolved,” the advisory read. No further details were given, adding the schedule of the remaining market phases will still be followed.
