LPG prices to go up in August

Firms on Wednesday announced another round of price hikes on liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) products in August.

In an advisory, Solane said it would increase the prices of its cooking gas by P0.27 per kilogram effective 6 a.m. on Thursday, August 1, 20204.

Meanwhile, Petron Corporation said its LPG prices will go up by P0.30/kg effective 12:01 a.m. on the same day.

“This reflects the international contract price of LPG for the month of August,” the advisory read.
