LPG prices up on first day of 2024

Households will have to pay more for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) this year, as firms on Monday announced an upward adjustment to reflect the movement in international contract prices.

In an advisory, Petron Corp. said it will increase LPG prices by P3.40 per kilogram, effective 12:00 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 1, 2024.

“This reflects the international contract price of LPG for the month of January,” the advisory read.

Other firms have yet to make similar announcements for the month. —KG, GMA Integrated News
