Gasoline prices seen to rise by P1-P1.20/l next week —Unioil
Motorists should expect another round of increase in the per liter price of gasoline next week.
In its fuel price forecast for May 30 to June 5 trading week, Unioil Petroleum Philippines said gasoline prices may go up by P1.00 to P1.20 per liter.
Diesel, meanwhile, is expected to have no price change.
Oil companies usually announce price adjustments every Monday, to be implemented on the following day.
Effective Tuesday, May 23, 2023, fuel firms hiked the price of gasoline by P0.80 per liter and increase diesel price by P0.60 per liter.
At the same time, oil companies slashed kerosene price by P0.10 per liter.
The latest price movements brought the year-to-date net decrease for diesel at P5.05 per liter and kerosene at P6.40 per liter.
Gasoline, on the other hand, has a year-to-date net increase of P5.00 per liter. —LBG, GMA Integrated News
