Converge ICT experiences service interruption issues on Saturday
Fixed broadband internet service provider Converge Information and Communications Technology Solutions Inc. announced a broadband service interruption on Saturday afternoon.
The broadband service did not go into detail on the "connectivity issue" other than to say that it started at 12:12 p.m.
"Our technical team is working to resolve the issue and restore your connection. A service ticket is not required," Converge informed their subscribers in a Facebook post.
Services were restored by 2:40 p.m., the company said in a post on their Facebook page.
"To our valued subscribers, We are glad to report that our connectivity issues at 12:12 PM of November 20, 2021 have been fully resolved at 2:40 PM of November 20, 2021," it said.
"You may now check the quality of your internet connection at cnvrge.co/speedtest. Please feel free to contact us if you are still experiencing issues with your connection. Thank you for your patience and understanding," it added.
Converge ICT’s residential subscribers grew to 1,576,759 as of September 30, 2021 from 900,531 as of September 30, 2020. — DVM/KG, GMA News
