Gasoline prices to rise; drop in diesel, kerosene prices – DOE
The Department of Energy (DOE) on Saturday announced that there would fuel price adjustments next week.
In an advisory, the DOE said that because of developments in international oil trading, domestic fuel prices would be affected in the following ways:
- gasoline prices would rise by around P0.45 per liter,
- diesel could decrease by around P0.05 per liter, and
- Kerosene could decrease by around P0.05 per liter.
Nevertheless, the DOE added that "adjustments on petroleum products are implemented every Tuesday of the week. Please note however that these findings may still be affected by the Friday trading activities which will be accessed on Monday." — Anna Felicia Bajo/DVM, GMA News
