GMA Network launches GMA News TV
Television industry leader GMA Network is changing the game by launching its own all-news channel on free TV starting in February. From the men and women of GMA News and Public Affairs â the only broadcast news organization in the Philippines that has won the Peabody Award â GMA News TV is in response to the insistent public clamor for the kind of relevant and credible news reportage that GMA News and Public Affairs has become known for.
GMA News TV's lineup of anchors and hosts will include (L to R) Howie Severino, Mike Enriquez, Vicky Morales, Jessica Soho, Mel Tiangco, and Arnold Clavio.

In addition, Sheila Coronel of Columbia University, Newsbreak's Marites Vitug and Ed Lingao of PCIJ will be joining the channel as advisers for the investigative documentaries. News TV's morning newscast will be led by GMA News Online Editor-in-Chief Howie Severino and another Peabody winner, Kara David.
