ATM operator PAPI onboards CTBC for free balance check, withdrawal

Pito AxM Platform Inc. (PAPI), a wholly owned subsidiary of Japan’s Seven Bank Ltd., on Friday announced its partnership with CTBC Bank Philippines Corp.
PAPI operates a network of about 3,000 automated teller machines/cash-recycling machines (ATMs/CRMs) across 7-Eleven stores nationwide.
In a news release, PAPI said its collaboration with CTBC Bank Philippines would allow the latter’s debit and cash cardholders to withdraw cash and check their account balances for free at select 7-Eleven as well as Alfamart stores.
“This partnership allows us to further our mission of making everyday banking transactions more convenient and accessible for Filipinos. With thousands of participating 7-Eleven and Alfamart stores, CTBC Bank Philippines clients can now enjoy greater financial flexibility at their fingertips,” said Taku Namikawa, PAPI president and CEO.
“At CTBC Bank Philippines, our commitment has always been to deliver accessible, reliable, and customer-centric banking services,” added Luis Elizaga, president and CEO of CTBC Bank Philippines.
PAPI began its alliance with 7-Eleven master franchise holder Philippine Seven Corp. in February 2020 for the installation, operation, and maintenance of cash-recycling ATMs at 7-Eleven stores in the Philippines. — VBL, GMA Integrated News
