First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos at Go Negosyo Women Summit 2025

First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos led the awarding ceremony at Go Negosyo’s Women Summit 2025 on Saturday.

Held at Ayala Malls Manila Bay in Parañaque City, the event honors outstanding women entrepreneurs for their contributions and leadership in business.

With Marcos were Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Cristina Roque, Go Negosyo Founder Joey Concepcion III, and several women entrepreneurs, a number of whom were honored during the summit.

According to Darlene Cay’s report on Super Radyo dzBB, Roque reaffirmed DTI’s strong support for women in business, emphasizing their vital role in society and the need to expand opportunities for them.

Concepcion, meanwhile, said entrepreneurship helps reduce poverty and sustain the country's economic growth.

He stressed the importance of collaboration between the government and private sector to support MSMEs and aspiring entrepreneurs.

The event also featured the Go Negosyo Inspiring Filipino Entrepreneur 2025 awards, with ?2 million in prizes shared among the winners.

An emotional moment occurred when a video tribute honored the late Filipina chef Margarita Forés.
