PAL launches flights between Manila and Cauayan
Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) has launched flight services between Manila and Cauayan City in Isabela province.
In a news release, PAL said it officially opened its daily Manila-Cauayan-Manila flight service on January 15.
The new route was launched “amid strong clamor from residents of Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya and Quirino provinces for increased air access to Manila,'' PAL said.
Below is the flight schedule of PAL’s new domestic route:
- PR 2018 Manila-Cauayan – Daily, departing Manila at 1:25 p.m., arriving in Cauayan at 2:30 p.m.
- PR 2019 Cauayan-Manila – Daily, departing Cauayan at 3:25 p.m., arriving in Manila at 4:40 p.m.
"Establishing a new gateway is vital to meet the growing demand for air connectivity. The opening of the Manila – Cauayan service expands our domestic route network and, more importantly, provides that sought-after air connectivity for residents of the province of Isabela, cutting travel time to Manila to a mere one hour from the current 10-hour land travel," said PAL president and COO Stanley Ng. — VBL, GMA Integrated News
