Fontana in Clark ordered closed over alleged violations
The Clark Development Corporation (CDC) has ordered the shutdown of Fontana Development Corporation (FDC) and Fontana Resort and Country Club, Inc. (FRCCI) over alleged numerous violations.
Based on a Facebook post, CDC said it served a cease and desist order to FDC and FRCCI for failing to meet their financial and contractual obligations.
It noted that the order is effective immediately, directing the two entities to "immediately stop all operations, indefinitely, within their leased area."
"This includes the 52-hectare property currently managed by Korea Country Club, Inc. (KCCI), pending compliance with their contractual obligations," CDC said.
“CDC issued the CDO due to the numerous violations committed by FDC, including failure to meet financial obligations, non-fulfillment of commitments under the Lease Agreement, and non-compliance with the Fire Code and National Building Code, among others,” it added.
GMA News Online is trying to get the side of FDC and FRCCI.
On June 27, 2024, the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) raided five villas inside the Fontana Leisure Parks.
One of the villas was occupied by one of the “big bosses” of Zun Yuan Technology Incorporated and a Chinese fugitive, who was tagged as an alleged business partner of former Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo.
Also discovered in one of the villas were documents named to a person, who is also linked to Guo.
The report added authorities also checked on the welfare of other foreigners found inside the villas. —Sherylin Untalan/LDF, GMA Integrated News
