Pepsi-Cola Philippines to shut down Muntinlupa plant by end of 2024


The Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines Inc. (PCCPI) is set to cease its production plant operations in Tunasan, Muntinlupa by the end of 2024.

In a statement on Tuesday, PCCPI said its plant operations will be transferred to other locations, but ensuring "continued service, product quality and better business efficiencies."

“Affected employees will be extended the necessary support and resources during this time of transition in accordance with law, company policy, and conditions of existing Collective Bargaining Agreements,” said PCCPI.

It added that it will keep its headquarters in Muntinlupa City.

PCCPI is the exclusive manufacturer of PepsiCo beverages in the Philippines.—Mariel Celine Serquiña/LDF, GMA Integrated News
