PrimeWater service disruptions due to power issues
Customers of PrimeWater Infrastructure Corp. in various parts of Bulacan province are experiencing water service interruptions due to power supply issues affecting the water distributor’s facilities.
PrimeWater Marilao
Customers were informed of an “emergency water interruption” —low water pressure to no supply— on November 1, 2024, affecting Ibayo, Nagbalon, Poblacion 1 & 2, Abangan Norte, Abangan Sur, Saog, Lias, Lambakin, Loma de Gato, Prenza 1 & 2, Sta. Rosa 1 & 2.
The interruption was due to a power interruption at the water treatment plant of Luzon Clean Water Development Corp. (LCWDC).
As of 7:15 a.m., November 2, operations at the LCWDC’s WTP are back using a generation set, but “some areas may still experience no water to low pressure while pressure is building up.”
PrimeWater Meycauayan
Customers in Bancal, Banga, Baygo, Camalig, Calvario, Caingin, Gasak, Hulo, Iba, La Breza, Langka, Lawa, Libtong, Longos, Malhacan, Meyland Homes PH 1 & 2, Meyland Homes PH 3, Meyland Village, Pantoc, Poblacion, Pandayan, Saluysoy, Tugatog, Zamora also experienced “emergency water interruption” due to power interruption at LCWDC’s water treatment plant.
As of November 2, PrimeWater Meycauayan said that LCWDC resumed operations and water supply is slowly being resumed.
PrimeWater San Jose del Monte City
Water supply interruptions in Barangays Tungkong Mangga, San Manuel, Graceville, Gaya-Gaya, Gumaok, and Muzon due to Meralco power interruption at Bulacan Water Treatment Plant.
PrimeWater City of Malolos
Water service interruption also due to power interruption at LCWDC’s water treatment plant. LCWDC’s operations back as of Saturday morning using a generator set.
