Ayala Corp. leads PH firms included in TIME's 'World's Best Companies' list

At least thirteen Filipino firms have made it to TIME's list of World’s Best Companies of 2024, with the Philippines' oldest enterprise besting all the local companies on the list.

In the second edition of its World's Best Companies, in partnership with consumer data provider Statista, TIME ranked 1,000 firms all over the world to determine top performing companies based on employee satisfaction, revenue growth, and sustainability transparency (ESG).

The Philippines’ oldest conglomerate, Ayala Corporation, is the highest ranking at 274th among Filipino companies that made it to TIME's list.

It was followed by Security Bank Corporation at 451st place.

Diversified infrastructure, foods and beverages conglomerate San Miguel Corporation came in at the third spot among Filipino companies, ranking at 463rd out of 1,000 firms.

Sy family's SM Investments Corporation and its property arm SM Prime Holdings followed at ranks 502nd and 577th, respectively.

Home-grown fast food giant Jollibee Foods Corporation is at the top six among Pinoy companies, ranking 649th all over.
