Cebu Pacific offers P1 base fare for Iloilo-Tacloban, Iloilo-Zamboanga flights

Budget carrier Cebu Pacific on Wednesday announced two new routes from Iloilo —resuming flights from Iloilo to Tacloban and opening direct flights from Iloilo to Zamboanga— with a P1 one-way base fare seat sale.

In a news release, Cebu Pacific said it will operate flights between Iloilo and Tacloban four times weekly — every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday— starting October 27, 2024.

Flights between Iloilo and Zamboanga will begin on October 28, 2024, and will operate thrice weekly — every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

To entice passengers with the new routes from Iloilo, the airline said passengers may book direct flights from Iloilo to Tacloban and Zamboanga for P1 one-way base fare, exclusive of fees and surcharges, until September 15, 2024.

The travel period for the seat sale is from October 27 (for Iloilo to Tacloban) and October 28, 2024 (for Iloilo to Zamboanga) to May 31, 2025.

“The addition of our new domestic routes from Iloilo aligns with our mission of making air travel accessible to a wider range of passengers. We look forward to flying more Juans across our growing inter-island network and better enabling them to discover the beautiful islands of the Philippines,” said Xander Lao, Cebu Pacific president and chief commercial officer. — VBL, GMA Integrated News
