AirAsia opens ‘ber’ months with P1 sale

Budget carrier AirAsia Philippines on Tuesday announced the launch of its P1 one-way base sale for domestic flights, kicking off the onset of “ber” months.

In a news release, AirAsia said over 300,000 seats are on sale across all its destinations.

The P1 one-way domestic flights base fare sale is available for booking until September 8, 2024.

AirAsia is also putting on sale its international flights during the booking period.

Up for grabs are flights to Macau for P511, or to Tokyo for P1,811.

The travel period for the booked flights on sale are from February 17, 2025 until January 31, 2026.

“The Ber month signifies the beginning of the culmination of the year. While others have already booked their year-end holiday travels courtesy of our double-digit and seasonal sales, this month’s Piso Sale is perfect for guests who are already planning their long vacations next year,” said AirAsia Philippines CEO Ricky Isla.

“We encourage our guests to take advantage of the ongoing Piso Sale and plan their trips ahead as this will not only help them save money, but will also allow them to maximize each schedule, giving them the opportunity to enjoy and create memories,” he added.

AirAsia also advised guests to maximize baggage allowance when traveling.

For guests who are planning to bring souvenirs from their trips, the airline said baggage allowance can be upgraded to up to 60 kilos for maximum convenience.
