LPG prices to rise in September

LPG prices to rise in September

Fuel companies announced on Saturday that they would raise prices of liquefied petroleum gas on September 1.

Both Solane and Petron said that the price of household LPG would go up by P0.55 per kilogram.

The price increases will take effect at 12:01 a.m. for Petron and 6 a.m. for Solane.

''This reflects the international contract price of LPG for the month of September,'' Petron said in an advisory.

Data from the Department of Energy shows that the prices of the 11-kilogram household LPG range from P840 to P1,087 in Metro Manila in August. — VBL, GMA Integrated News
