PAL reopens Clark-Basco route

Philippine Airlines reopens Clark-Basco route

Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) has reopened its Clark, Pampanga to Basco, Batanes flight service to serve demand for flights out of Central Luzon.

In a statement released Wednesday, PAL said the Clark-Basco flight made its return on July 2.

The reinstalled route now operates four times a week —every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday— via PR 2688, departing Clark International Airport at 11 a.m. and arriving in Basco at 12:35 p.m.

Meanwhile, the Basco-Clark return flight also operates on the same days as the Clark-Basco service via PR 2689, leaving Basco at 1 p.m. and arriving in Clark at 2:35 p.m.

“It gives us great pride to meet the demand for flights out of Central Luzon, a strategic gateway to Northern, Central and Southern Philippines. From Clark, leisure and business travelers can likewise connect to other PAL domestic destinations via our Cebu hub,” said PAL Express president Rabbi Vincent Ang.

PAL said the Clark-Basco flight complements the airline’s daily Manila – Basco service.

The flag carrier also operates daily flights to Cebu, thrice weekly flights to Boracay (Caticlan), and four times weekly to Coron (Busuanga) from its Clark hub. — Ted Cordero/RSJ, GMA Integrated News
