Cheng family-led chicken production and processing giant Bounty Group is targeting to further expand the footprint of its roast chicken chain Chooks-to-Go over the medium term.

At a media briefing in Taguig City on Wednesday, Bounty vice president for Marketing Patricia Cheng-Lim said that the Chooks-to-Go brand has so far 1,800 take-out stores and 37 dine-in restaurants nationwide.

“Definitely, we’re going to add more stores… and we will be adding more restaurant concepts,” Bounty founder and CEO Kenneth Cheng said.

Asked if the company will add 100 more Chooks-to-Go take-out stores and even breach the number of its dine-in concept stores to 40, Cheng said, “Yes, that is the mandate.”

“We are expanding our Chooks-to-Go [brand],” he said.

The Bounty Group chief said the company’s expansion will leverage on the continuing growth in demand for chicken among Filipinos.

The company also launched its “Food Made Better” campaign.
