Pag-IBIG joins Pride Month celebration

Pag-IBIG Fund joins Pride Month celebration

The Home Development Mutual Fund, or commonly known as Pag-IBIG Fund, has assured the public that its services are inclusive to anyone, including the LGBTQA+ community, as it joined the celebration of Pride Month.

“Our Lingkod Pag-IBIG mantra — Tapat na Serbisyo, Mula sa Puso — does not discriminate against anyone. Kami ang Pag-IBIG na walang pinipiling paglingkuran,” said Pag-IBIG CEO Marilene Acosta.

(Our mantra in Pag-IBIG — Honest service from the heart — does not discriminate against anyone. We don’t choose who we serve.)

“Ang aming mga serbisyo at programa ay para sa bawat isang manggagawang Pilipino, ano man ang kasarian at antas ng pamumuhay,” she added.

(Our services and programs are for all working Filipinos, regardless of gender and standing in life.)

The Pag-IBIG official made the statement during the government’s LAB for All program in Mandaluyong City, an initiative by First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos that seeks to bring social and medical services to various communities.

Pag-IBIG brough its Lingkod Pag-IBIG on Wheels during the caravan to assist members with membership registration, cash loans, housing loan applications, issuance of Loyalty Plus cards, and address membership queries.

“We are committed to ensuring that our members are able to utilize our programs and services, whenever it is needed, wherever they may be,” said Acosta. —Vince Angelo Ferreras/KBK, GMA Integrated News
