Digital gaming firm DigiPlus Interactive Corp. is earmarking about P2 billion in capital expenditures (capex) this year to bankroll technological upgrades across its platforms as it targets to capture more users in the Philippines.

At a press conference in Makati City on Wednesday, DigiPlus president Andy Tsui said the company is setting aside P1.5 billion to P2 billion in capex in 2024.

We aim to shape the landscape of Filipino entertainment with our portfolio of digital offerings that cater to different demographics and lifestyle preferences,” he said.

DigiPlus currently operates digital gaming platforms BingoPlus, ArenaPlus, and PeryaGame.

“We will expect to increase our total number of registered users…. Another five o 10 million registered users this year,” he said.

Apart from online platforms, DigiPlus has 140 physical sites nationwide.

For 2024, Tsui said the company is expecting to grow its revenues by 10% to 20% coming from a higher base last year.

In 2023, DigiPlus saw its revenues grow by 306% to P27.3 billion due to higher user traffic in its flagship bingo platform BingoPlus and sportsbook ArenaPlus.
