AirAsia launches PISO Sale

Budget carrier AirAsia Philippines is offering another round of promo base fares as low as P1 for both domestic and international flights.

For the booking period from February 19 to 25, 2024, travelers can purchase ‘PISO Sale’ flights for travels from September 1, 2024 to June 18, 2025.

AirAsia Philippines in late January said it was looking to restore its fleet to its pre-pandemic levels amid the recovery of air travel demand post COVID-19 pandemic.

AirAsia Philippines CEO Ricky Isla said the airline was expecting to fully restore the fleet by the third quarter of 2024.

“It’s more of Q3… when it’s already close to 2019 level. We want to go back to 2019-levels,” Isla said. —NB, GMA Integrated News
