LPG prices up in August

Households will have to pay more for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) this month, following the rollback firms implemented in the past two months.

In an advisory, Petron Corp. said it will increase prices of LPG by P4.55 per kilogram, and AutoLPG by P2.54 per liter.

The price hikes will take effect at 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2023.

“These reflect the international contract price of LPG for the month of August,” the advisory read.

Solane-branded LPG price has increase by Php4.55/kg VAT inclusive effective August 1, 2023 at 6 a.m.

Other firms have yet to make similar announcements for the month.
