Rockwell expands footprint with 200 hectares of development
Rockwell Land Corp. on Wednesday announced plans to expand its footprint by nearly 200 hectares of development, with a pipeline of projects in Cebu, Bulacan, and Batangas.
Among the projects set to be launched is the 2.85-hectare mixed-use community IPI Center by Rockwell in Cebu in partnership with the Wong and Castillo families of International Pharmaceuticals Inc., marking its third project in the province this year.
It is also set to develop a 100-hectare horizontal neighborhood in San Jose, Bulacan which is set to be designed as a “hillside escape and wellness retreat,” along with an 85-hectare premium horizontal beach community in Lian, Batangas.
The company expects to launch its first phase of residential lots in Batangas next year, with the property covering 700 meters of coastline spread across two natural coves.
Rockwell reported a P2.3 billion bottom line in the past year, after posting P16.5 billion in revenues. Reservation sales for the year stood at P21.2 billion, while the commercial business grew by 77%.
The company is involved mainly in residential development under the “Rockwell” and “Primaries” brands, the commercial development segment which develops, leases, and manages retail and office developments, and its hotel business Aruga which was launched in 2014.
Its subsidiaries include Rockwell Integrated Property Services Inc., Rockwell Primaries Development Corp., Stonewell Property Development Corp., Primaries Properties Sales Specialist Inc., Rockwell Hotels & Leisure Management Corp., Retailscapes Inc., and Rockwell Primaries South Development Corp.
It also has majority interests in Rockwell Leisure Club Inc., Rockwell MFA Corp., and Rockwell Camelray Development Corp. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
