Bank schedules for Holy Week 2023

Most branches of local banks will be closed for the Holy Week this year, with an extended weekend as Malacañang also announced the move of the observance of the Araw ng Kagitingan (Day of Valor) to next Monday.

Malacañang said earlier that  April 6 (Maundy Thursday) and April 7 (Good Friday) were regular holidays. It also announced the move of the Araw ng Kagitingan to April 10, making it a non-working holiday.

Below are advisories from lenders that have so far announced schedules for the week:

Asia United Bank
All branches will be closed on April 6, 7, and 10, 2023.
Regular operations will resume on April 11, 2023.

Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI)
All branches will be closed from April 6 to April 8, 2023.
All branches will also be closed on April 10, 2023.
Branch operations will resume on April 11, 2023.

BDO Unibank Inc.
All branches will be closed from April 6 to April 9, 2023.

China Banking Corp.
All branches will be closed from April 6 to April 8, 2023.

Malayan Savings Bank
All branches will be closed on April 6, 7, and 10, 2023.
Regular operations will resume on April 11, 2023.

Land Bank of the Philippines (Landbank)
Select branches will be extending banking hours on weekdays and will be open during weekends from April 1 to April 17, 2023 to accept tax payments.

Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co. (Metrobank)
Select branches will remain open from April 6 to 10, 2023, albeit on shortened hours.
All branches will resume operations on April 11, 2023.

Philippine Savings Bank (PSBank)
All branches will be closed on April 6 to 7, 2023, and April 10, 2023.
All ATMs and the PSBank Mobile/Online will be available.

Security Bank Corp.
The bank will have a scheduled system activity from April 6 to 7, 2023.
Services temporarily unavailable from 9 p.m. on Thursday to 7 a.m. on Friday:
Full use of debit cards and cash cards, ATMs and CAMs, web and mobile application, DigiBanker, Cash and Trade Portal IVRS, salary advance, eGC, InstaPay and PESONet, and online transactions and point of sales.

Union Bank of the Philippines
All branches will be closed from April 6 to 10, 2023 except for Alabang Town Center which will be open on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Alabang Country Club from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Normal operations will resume after the holidays.
Money sent to remittance centers from April 6 to 10 will be available for payout on April 11.
Mobile check deposits from April 6 to 10 will be cleared and settled on April 11.
