Gasoline prices down by P2.10/liter, diesel by P3/liter Tuesday
Motorists will enjoy lower pump prices of petroleum products this week, as oil firms on Monday announced a rollback.
In separate advisories, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp., Caltex Philippines, Petron Corp., and Seaoil said they will cut down prices per liter of gasoline by P2.10, diesel by P3, and kerosene by P2.30.
Petro Gazz, PTT Philippines, Phoenix Petroleum Philippines and Cleanfuel, meanwhile, will implement the same changes, excluding kerosene which they do not carry.
The changes will take effect at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, except for Caltex and Cleanfuel, which will implement the adjustment at 12:01 a.m. on the same day.
Other firms have yet to make announcements as of posting time.
Oil companies usually announce price adjustments every Monday, to be implemented on the following day.
Local oil industry sources last Friday said a rollback in the prices of fuel products is to be expected after three straight weeks of hikes. —with Sundy Locus/KBK/AOL, GMA Integrated News
