Gasoline prices up for second straight week Tuesday; diesel and kerosene down for fourth
Pump prices of gasoline will be hiked for the second straight week, while those of diesel and kerosene will be rolled back for the fourth.
In separate advisories, Chevron Philippines Inc. (Caltex), Flying V, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. and Seaoil Philippines Corp. said they will hike prices per liter of gasoline by P0.90, while cutting down diesel by P0.30, and kerosene by P1.35.
Cleanfuel, Petro Gazz, PTT Philippines Corp., and Unioil Petroleum Philippines Inc. will implement the same changes, excluding kerosene which it does they do not carry.
The changes will take effect at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, November 15, for all the firms except for Cleanfuel which will adjust prices at 4:01 p.m. the same day.
Other firms have yet to make similar announcements for the week.
Latest data from the Department of Energy (DOE) indicate year-to-date increases of P17.25 per liter for gasoline, P36.30 per liter for diesel, and P28.60 per liter for kerosene as of November 18, 2022.—AOL/RSJ, GMA Integrated News
