Maynilad announces Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite area service interruptions

West-zone Maynilad Water Services announced several Metro Manila, Cavite, and Bulacan area water supply interruptions starting Sunday due to high demand at the Bagbag Reservoir.

Maynilad said in an advisory that customers in portions of Bulacan, Caloocan City, Makati City, Malabon City, Manila, Navotas City, Paranaque City, Pasay City, Quezon City, and Valenzuela City would experience daily water service interruptions from October 17 until October 25.

Likewise, the company said water supply in portions of Bacoor City, Caloocan City, Cavite City, Imus City, Kawit, Las Pinas City, Makati City, Malabon City, Manila, Noveleta, Paranaque City, Pasay City, Quezon City and Rosario, Cavite will be cut daily starting October 17 until October 24.

“We encourage our affected customers to store enough water when supply is available. Upon resumption of water service, please let the water flow out briefly until it clears,” Maynilad said.

“Our mobile water tankers are also doing the rounds of the affected areas to deliver potable water, and stationary water tanks are installed in several areas,” it said.
