LPG prices to roll back effective Oct. 1
Consumers will welcome the month of October with lower liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices.
In an advisory on Friday, Petron Corporation announced it would slash the price per kilogram of its household LPG by P2.55, effective at 12:01 a.m. on October 1.
The adjustment is equivalent to a P28.05 price reduction for a typical 11-kilogram LPG tank.
Phoenix Petroleum and Solane will also cut LPG prices by P2.55 per kilogram on October 1.
Petron and Phoenix Petroleum, meanwhile, will implement a price rollback on their Auto LPG by P1.43 per liter.
“These reflect the international contract price of LPG for the month of October,” Petron said.
Data from the Department of Energy showed that retail prices for an 11-kilogram household LPG cylinder ranged from P838 to P1,024. — VBL, GMA News
