Maynilad: 8 areas to experience daily water service interruption from July 6-31, 2022

West zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services Inc. has announced implementing daily service interruptions in eight areas from July 6 to 31 “due to raw water quality issue.”

In an advisory on Tuesday, Maynilad said the following areas will be affected by the daily water service interruption:

• Bacoor City
• Imus City
• Cavite City
• Las Pinas City
• Muntinlupa City
• Noveleta, Cavite
• Paranaque City
• Rosario, Cavite

Maynilad encouraged affected customers to store enough water when supply is available. It also advised them to let the water flow out until it clears when supply resumes.

According to Maynilad, its mobile water tankers will be deployed in affected areas to deliver potable water. Stationary water tanks will also be installed in several areas.

“We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you,” Maynilad said.

Maynilad provides water and wastewater services to residents in most parts of the City of Manila; northern and western parts of Quezon City; western parts of Makati City; and the cities of Caloocan, Pasay, Parañaque, Las Piñas, Valenzuela, Muntinlupa, Navotas, and Malabon in Metro Manila.

It also serves the municipalities of Kawit, Noveleta, and Rosario, as well as the cities of Bacoor, Cavite, and Imus in the province of Cavite. —Joviland Rita/KBK, GMA News
